I started teaching other teachers how to set up their teaching (studio) because I used to have the same struggle. When I first graduated from my master’s degree in piano performance from Indiana University, I did not know what to do with my teaching. Certainly, I performed a lot, with prestigious orchestras and musicians, I did a lot of accompanying and gigs, I even conducted choirs and taught at universities. But deep inside of me, I always wanted to be a piano teacher. I had some amazing piano teachers later in life and I thought I wanted to do the same for my students. I wanted to be that teacher I would have loved to have when I first started playing more seriously.
I started doing really well in my teaching, built a successful music studio with a community I would always be very thankful for. Then some of my friends from college (some of them have doctorates in piano) started sending me emails about how to teach their students. I had readers from my blog telling me about their frustration with getting students even when they had multiple music degrees. I started to wonder why that would be the case. Long story short, I realized I could help them with my own learning and experiences. That is why I started doing what I am doing now, helping YOU with my online courses here. I will guide you through the whole course and provide you with post-course support!
